GV Soccer Youth Tournament Series

Grand Valley State University Youth Soccer Tournaments are designed to provide youth players with an organized weekend of fun and games! 

This is a TEAM registration.  
A $225 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. This fee will go towards the remaining balance once confirmed into the tournament. Remaining balance will be paid at the start of your specific tournament date.

Due to reduced space in our indoor building, we can only accept a limited amount of teams this year. PLEASE sign up early to ensure participation for your team.

DEADLINES: Each tournament will be given a registration dead line. Your team must be registered by the date listed before in order to be eligible for participation. Schedules will be created after this deadline date.

 Are player cards required for the tournament?

This tournament does not require player cards. Simply submit the typed roster form (including email addresses) for each participant in addition to the necessary medical forms for each player.

 Can we use guest players for the tournament?

Yes. Any guest players must be listed on the roster form and submit required medical forms.

 Do players have to wear indoor shoes?

All players can wear the footwear of their choice – including cleats, turf, or indoor shoes.

 When will I receive the schedule?

Game schedules will be sent to the coach and manager listed on registration no later than 7 days prior to the start of each tournament weekend. 

 Is there a warm up before the game?

While space is limited, teams are welcome to use the areas around the field.  Please avoid kicking balls against the walls of the building and stay off any of the equipment. Teams will have about 3 minutes on the field between games.

 What forms are required at check-in?

Each team will be required to submit the following: two typed roster forms, adult conduct form (1 per coach), concussion forms (1 per player), and minor children program release forms (1 per player). 

 Our league requires a concussion form be filled out during the season – can I make copies and use them?

Yes, provided the concussion form has been filled out in the last 6 months, you can make copies of the forms your team uses throughout the year. Please keep in mind that these copies will not be returned to you.

 When can we arrive for our game?

The building will open 30 minutes prior to the first kickoff for the day, and will remain open throughout the last match. You are welcome to come as early as you’d like, but keep in mind warm up space is limited and if you have the earliest time slot, the building may not be open until 30 minutes to kickoff.

 I have multiple teams playing in the tournament – can I submit one check to pay the balance?

Yes. We accept cash or check during check-in to cover the remaining balance for each team. If you’d like to pay check for multiple teams, please list each team clearly on the check.
