Grand Valley State Soccer Camps

at Grand Valley State University
Allendale, Michigan

As many of you know, our summer camps fill up quickly and unfortunately, sometimes we have to turn campers away.  Due to the uncertainty created by the COVID-19 virus we have established a way for you to reserve your spot in camp with a very minimal financial commitment. Now you can claim your spot in camp for only a deposit!  When your camp is confirmed to take place, you can easily pay the balance online. Should we have to cancel the camp due to COVID-19, your deposit would be refunded less the Ryzer convenience fees.

Come and train with Champions! Our tremendous camp reputation continues to grow as players across the country experience, fun, challenging and professional coaching from our staff along with some of the best college, club and high school coaches in the game today. Each of our camps offer something for everyone, and the personal growth and development of each player is always at the center of our proven camp model.

The GVSU women's soccer team finished its 2019 campaign as National Champions with the 12th straight Elite Eight appearance and an overall record of 25-1. GVSU also claimed its 15th straight GLIAC regular season title and won the GLIAC Tournament for the 13th year in a row. The club once again led the nation in points, goals, and assists, the fifth straight season to top NCAA Division II in those stats. Defensively, the Lakers led the nation posting 19 shutouts on the year and finished fourth with a goals against average of .382.

Ten Lakers earned All-GLIAC honors with Riko Sagara and Cecilia Steinwascher earning offensive and defensive Player of the Year. Sagara, who led the nation with 23 assists and also tallied 20 goals was named the D2CCA Midwest Region Player of the Year and United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Year. In addition, a total of three Lakers garnered United Soccer Coaches All-American selections.

Thanks to the contributions of all past and present players, the GVSU women’s soccer team set the NCAA record for the most national championships (6) in DII history and has more wins over the last seven years than any NCAA member school, of any division.

Preferred registration will be online, which is easier and less time consuming than mailing to the soccer office. As we turn our attention to the Summer of 2020, we hope you will join us at one of our camp offerings this summer and join players from across the country in a competitive, fun environment! Secure your spot before capacity is reached and register today!

The health and safety of campers is our primary focus. Our summer 2020 camps are currently scheduled to proceed as planned. Like you, we are continually monitoring COVID-19 developments. If it is determined that our camps should be canceled, we will issue campers a full refund within 72 hours of cancelation (minus Ryzer card processing/convenience fees).

As an added safeguard our event offers Allianz Registration Protection insurance. For an additional fee, this insurance refunds your full registration fee if camp is held but you cannot attend or must leave early due to a covered injury or illness which includes COVID-19.
