Oreientation and Check-in for Elite Girl's Camp
Check in will be SUNDAY JULY 15th from 12-2pm at the GVSU Fieldhouse for both resident and commuter players. An orientation meeting will be held prior to the first training sessions. Attendance at this meeting is mandatory for resident and commuter soccer players only. Campers will receive instructions reminding them of check-in times, sites, a campus map, as well as GVSU Residence Hall policies via mail or email.

Commuter Plan
Participants will be provided all meals except for breakfast. Campers will be dropped off and picked up at the Residence Halls at 8am and picked up at 8:30pm.

Goalkeeper Program
This is a daily training program for goalkeepers. GVSU GK coach Shannon Neely will work with goalkeepers on specific technical, tactical and conditioning drills and exercises. All areas of goalkeeper training are covered including:

  • shot saving
  • distribution
  • handling air balls
  • one-on-one play
  • controlling the penalty area

Group Discounts For All Camps
Group registrations must be done at the same time. Late additions will not be permitted.

  • 2-5 participants: 5% off per registrant
  • 6+ participants: 10% off per registrant
Refund Policy
A $50.00 administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds regardless of the reason. Refund requests must be made in writing PRIOR to the first day of camp session in which the camper was originally enrolled. No refunds for any reason (i.e., injury, illness) will be given once a camper is on campus.

Tentative Schedule
The design of this camp will involve training and games. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided to all resident campers (lunch and dinner to all commuters).

Roommate Requests
GVSU will make every effort to honor your roommate and suitemate requests. To insure your roommate and suitemate preferences, campers must list them in the appropriate area of the application. Please print this information and spell all names correctly.

Medical Policy/Insurance
Each participant should have his or her own medical insurance. A fully qualified student trainer will always be available. Any medical bill incurred will be billed by GVSU to the participant's insurance company. Any medical expenses not covered by insurance are the responsibility of the participant’s parent or guardian.
